About Me
Hi, I’m Sara — a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPC-A) serving clients across Texas through virtual therapy. I show up as a human first, therapist second, and believe in the power of being seen, heard, and understood. My approach is rooted in compassion, curiosity, and a deep respect for the resilience we all carry—especially in the face of hard things.
I know what it’s like to navigate life transitions, feel stuck in patterns you didn’t choose, or carry emotional weight that no longer belongs to you. I also know that healing is possible when you don’t have to do it alone.
Counseling isn’t about “fixing” you—because you’re not broken. It’s about creating a space where your emotions, fears, and dreams can coexist. Where we can explore what’s holding you back and gently work toward something more aligned, more authentic, more you.
Whether you’re struggling with anxiety, relationship dynamics, identity exploration, past trauma, or just the general messiness of being human—I’d be honored to walk alongside you as you navigate your way forward.

Before becoming a counselor, I spent over a decade supporting individuals and communities through roles in teaching, student advising, and program coordination. While the settings were different, the heart of my work remained the same: helping people feel seen, supported, and empowered to grow.
As a secondary English teacher, I developed a deep understanding of adolescent development, communication, and the unspoken emotional worlds students carry with them into every room.
My time as a student affairs professional and academic advisor at a major university taught me how to guide individuals through high-pressure transitions, identity exploration, and life-defining decisions with care and clarity.
Working as a program coordinator, I learned how to hold both structure and flexibility—skills I now carry into my therapy work as I balance clinical intuition with evidence-based practices.
I’m currently under supervision as an LPC Associate in Texas and deeply committed to ethical, inclusive, and client-centered care. My work is trauma-informed, strengths-based, and grounded in the belief that your story matters.
